  • Great Pride presented by Daphne Liu from SF Americas region with SF flag at the North Pole.

Daphne Liu, Head of Human Resources at SF Express Americas Region.  From April 13-22, Daphne a board leader joined the world’s youngest scientific expedition to explore the wonders of the North Pole. The group is the youngest American, British, French, Luxembourgish and Taiwanese-Chinese explorers traveled to the geographic North Pole. Along the way, the young explorers studied climate change and the resilient, indigenous culture of the Inuit people. The expedition’s goal is a call to action for youth around the world to protect the environment.

The Explorers Club is an international multidisciplinary professional society founded in New York City in 1904, awards the expedition with its Flag number sixty one. Its goal is to promote scientific exploration of land, sea, air, and space by supporting research and education in the physical, natural and biological sciences.  The Explorers Club occasionally grants one of its well-traveled flags to expeditions of merit.
