20th San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival - SF Express is in the Boat!!!

It was all eyes on the Bay when speeding dragon boats took to the water for the 20th Annual San Francisco International Dragon Boat Festival off of Treasure Island last Saturday & Sunday.
Did you witness the fleet of colorful 40-foot dragon boats as they raced to the beat of Chinese drums?
Over 120 dragon boat teams, comprised of nearly 3,000 paddlers, represented teams that included local corporations, non-profits, and professional teams from across the United States and Canada. The Express Dragons, an employee team, represented Team SF Express, which was a first year sponsor and participant of the event.
Dragon Boat Racing is the essence of a team sport. Success is only possible with the precise synchronization of all rowers. Our Dragon Express Team demonstrated strong teamwork and communication skills by continuing to improve with each consecutive race. With a 6th place finish in the first race, the Express Dragons moved up to 3rd in the second race and finally 4th in the third race of the day.
The mood was very positive and teammates encouraged each other to give their best effort. “A fourth place finish still felt like a win to us. We came together as novices to learn and train together and represent our company. We fought against competitors which included longtime corporate teams from HSBC, Chevron, Deloitte, LinkedIn, Google, and more. At the end of the day we felt like winners. “
SF Express prepared special souvenir giveaways and introduced our high-quality delivery services to visitors who came to the SF booth. The long line at the SF Express booth demonstrated a large amount of inquiries from US customers.
