AR Executive

Location:

  • US: San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Delaware, Chicago/ Canada: Toronto, Vancouver 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, verify, and process both manual and systematic invoices for services rendered.
  • Enter data on manual invoices and ensure proper coding on documents.
  • Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Partner with the sales team to review and validate weekly/monthly system-generated invoices.
  • Collect accounts by sending invoice reminders and communicating with customers via phone, email, or mail.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Work closely with the Accounts Receivable Supervisor on various financial reporting and account analyses.
  • Participate in finance system automation projects when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required;
  • 1-2 years of working experience in AR and GL and Reporting;

  • Systems experience with SAP, and Oracle is a plus

【Fulfillment/ Office Administrator】

Location:Carson, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Confirm to receive pre-alert (from the China side) and shipment upon arrival, perform quality check (by visual) to make sure no damaged items, follow up with clients to make sure there are no inventory discrepancies;
  • Communicate with the operation team to ensure timely order fulfillment, and manage inventory as per request;

  • Assist in preparing shipping documents, packing slips and labels, DO, BOL, etc.

  • Track shipments update customers on order status as needed, and respond to inquiries regarding order status, shipping delays, and product availability.

Qualifications:
  • High school degree, college degree preferred

【Public Relationship Specialist】

Location:Carson, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Align product and service launch and marketing projects and events with S.F. Express service standards quality, report to the Head of Sales & Marketing, and work with marketing content producers (long-form, short-form, video, etc) in editing, publishing, and distributing S.F. Express product features and content. Provide new media or market exposure ideas on industry-related topics. 
  • Maintain a high standard for corporate communication and press release quality pertaining to the S.F. Express marketing projects, ensuring each piece of content not only contains the insights readers are looking for, but also captures readers’ attention and inspires them to inquire further on SF Express’ product pipeline and services; coordinate with technology team for the purpose of obtaining related software support for new product and services pipelines market outreach program. 
  • Establish or maintain cooperative relationships with clients, employees, local chamber of commerce and public interest groups; write, edit and review a variety of communication pieces, event or public release including S.F. Express service descriptions, service guidelines, and other supportive text; drive consistency of voice and tone across audiences, mediums, and authors; collaborate with others in marketing to create and execute strategies for various campaigns. 
  • Manage S.F. Express marketing campaign content calendar and promotion schedule; assist  company stay on schedule with clear deadlines and due dates; collaborate with Purchasing, Photo, Video, and Design team to complete projects; plan and direct development or  communication of programs to maintain favorable corporate perceptions among the market participants within the logistic industry. 
  • Research information on S.F. Express service to improve existing promotional policies and context, and the needs to develop market outreach strategies; master various systems and procedures to produce quality content; maintain and update clients and department resources. 
  • Facilitate repurposing of S.F. Express most effective public relation content into multiple mediums and forms. For example, make a competitive one-sheet become a slide, as well as a landing page, utilize SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keyword strategies to increase S.F. Express official website traffic. 
  • Develop collaborative product and service launching engagements through objective and credible channels, such as drafting feature stories in logistics magazines, obtaining recommendations from influential public figures, coordinating speaking engagement at major industry conferences; collaborate across teams to ensure content engagement, create and maintain consistent formatting standards for content. 
  • Develop relationships internally with subject matter experts; identify unique perspectives and inspire them to contribute to the content programs; work on other projects such as writing video scripts, developing marketing copy for e-blasts and site ads, and maintaining internal resources.

【Market Research Analyst】

Location: Springfield Garden, NY 

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping pertinent data current used by market analysis and marketing strategy within S.F. Express's current business plan; aligning marketing strategies supported by the newest verifiable market data within the corporate group and regional offices; conducting additional data collection on how shipping pricing, transition time, and customer spending point rewards will impact on sales and market shares, compose an illustration of data graphically and translation complex findings into written text pertaining S.F. Express' operation. 
  • Collecting information to plan for new location expansion and create new procedures to maximize daily efficiency; performing cost analyses, identifying new trends in the express delivery services industry, assessing how it impacts the local submarkets where S.F. Express covers, and recommending viable modifications of existing strategies in aspects of pricing, advertising, and other marketing campaigns, i.e. bonus Points scheme, Personal Shopper services, and Package Forwarding Services. 
  • Cooperating with the sales department to develop new customers, provide solutions to major logistics projects and interconnectivity of equipment; making business initiatives including creating new symbolic icons, drafting simple and concise messages on symbolic icons, matching new icons with upcoming promotion materials; identifying new business channels through attending industry related trade shows and quarterly events, studying industry publications and related findings to the business reality of S.F. Express. 
  • Evaluating client satisfaction by designing and conducting client surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires; properly interpreting survey results and comparing them with standards set out within S.F. Express' existing service training manual to recommend procedure improvements. 
  • Constantly monitoring and assessing the market challenges in the logistics industry, such as changes in market demands and transportation costs, and reporting impacts to S.F. Express's management; assisting in coordinating cost collection for budget planning purposes including researching, locating, evaluating, and making initial contacts with potential fitting shipping contractors/suppliers locally and internationally to maximize cost utilities within company’s budget constraints; acting as a liaison between shipping contractors/suppliers and company management to maintain long-term relationships with stable shipping suppliers. 
  • Collecting viable information on all existing competitors, i.e. FedEx, DHL, Dynamic Parcel Distribution, and UPS.; summarizing findings and updating the list of direct competitors to the management and assessing competitive advantages and disadvantages of S.F. Express's business; recommending strategies in terms of pricing, featured services and market campaign strategies. 
  • Assisting management in analyzing and proposing improvements on gateway (Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Canada operations KPIs, assisting management in making decisions on establishing new geographical service locations, suitable promotional activities, and marketing campaigns to each specific location. 
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending all operation training; choreographing and executing advertising and marketing programs; and sharing daily reports and tasks on the Enterprise Collaboration Platform on time. 
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration required; 
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Market Research Analyst is required.

【Accountant】

Location: Carson, CA 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for logistic projects and product presentation financial planning process by preparing financial analysis and forecast modeling; utilize Excel and Oracle to analyze large data sets; recommend future expense targets; plan and analyze business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas; communicate with IT and operation departments for specialized logistic requirements. 
  • Perform SF Express infrastructure and expansion tax scenario planning analysis, leveraging a long-range business planning model to assess the potential impact of strategic portfolio decisions on the size, profitability, and returns of SF Express international operations over time. 
  • Establish financial procedures according to public traded companies' compliance requirements of financial reporting, custody and control of financial assets, financial records, and loan collateral management to ensure safekeeping; determine the scope of documentation necessary to support SF Express’ tax position. 
  • Review financial records submitted by overseas countries, including revenue, expenditure, cycle turnover of account receivables, and discuss collection status and financial forecast to promote and maintain the financial stability of SF Express' operation in those overseas regions. 
  • Review financial reports from the above offices. Prepare and submit the monthly consolidated financial results, budget, and rolling forecast to the Head of Finance and executive team. Design and enhance relevant financial and management account policies, processes, and SOP to support SFExpress business development globally. 
  • Perform periodical and annual finalization of financial statements as per GAAP/IFRS with the relevant financial analysis to ensure reporting quality control and implementation of financial improvement, work closely with the system development team to implement a financial consolidation system, set up accounting functions, complete U.S. data integration with global operation and provide necessary training to employees. 
  • Review liquidity reports and forecasts from North Americas region offices, track SF Express Liquidity requirement and use of funds among offices, minimize financial and currency exchange risks, monitor company financial situation according to assessment of financial accounts and variance between actual accounts and budget, and predict each operation's financial returns and risks. 
  • Research and analysis activities relating to profits and loss and potential adverse financial trends to monitor market movement, identify investment opportunities, and control financial risk (setting strategies to minimize financial loss or uncertainty). 
  • Stay abreast of relevant government financial reporting and control guidelines, formulate financial strategies to maximize SF Express tax benefit plans, and provide tax advice for senior management's business strategies and investment decisions. 
  • Provide audit support, assist in managing the identification and evaluation of the organization's audit risk areas, and audit financial information as needed to meet the needs of the group audit business team.
